This app is for shape and colour recognition. We teach by letting the child interactively create objects with the shapes and colours that they choose. They are also able to move the shape around.
This app comes in 3 languages:
The commands for shapes, colours and movement are grouped logically. As you click on each command button, the shape will respond accordingly. As you click on the command, you will hear the sound of the command voice.
Being able to interactively create and move the shapes, the child feels empowered and confident of their environment.
There is a speech / voice driven feature which allows the child to say a command via the microphone and the object will change shape, colour or move accordingly. The corresponding command voice will not sound, so that it does not provide a sound loop.
This teaches shapes and colours in a fun and exciting way.
At this moment (Nov 2013), the speech feature is only available through Google Chrome Browser desktop and Google Chrome Browser for Android.
You are able to use the microphone. Click it to start speaking into the microphone. If the command word is pronounced correctly, the shape will change.
You are NOT able to use the microphone.
The microphone is active waiting for speech input.
