Title
Today is the 4th of July. It's special to us because we get to see fireworks. We get to use
firecrackers, and make designs with the firecrackers.

Years ago, the English army waged war upon the American. Betsy and Catherine Ross
were set to the task of making the American flag. This flag was raised at Fort McHenry to bring the
Americans courage. A poet, by the name of Frances Scott Key, was captured by the English. All
through the night, bombs were going off. And as the ray of sun shone, he was overjoyed to see that
the American flag was still standing. He wrote a poem called "The Star Spangled Banner".

Some time later, the poem was turned into a song. This song went: "Oh, say can you see,
by the dawns early light. What so proudly we hailed by the twilights last gleaming. Whose broad
stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, oer the ram parts we watched, were so gallantly
streaming. And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night, that our flag was still there. Oh, say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave, oer the land of the free,
and the home, of the brave.

The 4th of July is a very special moment for all of the American people.
