Title Go for the Snitch, Harry! Chapter One
Oliver Wood paced back and forth. He was thinking about the life he had when he was captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, wondering what would happen to each person that had been on it. Angelina Johnson, Katie Bell...they had been romantic types, they had, and giggled over Cedric Diggory's handsome figure when they weren't playing Quidditch. Sometimes it made them foolish, and lightheaded. He'd even been inclined to call them stupid at one point! Still, they didn't play half bad. He figured that some day they'd become famous Chasers on a team as good as Ireland (he was, of course, an Ireland fan). Fred and George Weasley - he would never forget them. Though he sometimes had trouble telling them apart, like everyone else on the team did, their sense of humor really stood out, and sometimes their cheerful attitude helped to boost the team's spirits. They were pretty good Beaters, too - he'd always remembered how they managed to keep Harry safe when the enchanted Bludger had threatened to knock Harry off his broom in his second year, and they always seemed eager to catch Harry if he did happen to fall. Then there was Potter...the good old famous Harry Potter. With Harry, they'd only lost a game once. Once. Potter had helped them win the Quidditch Cup in Wood's last year at Hogwarts...Potter had somehow managed to win them the game all but that one time. Still, that couldn't be helped, as no player was perfect...but Harry was as close to being a perfect player, in Wood's opinion anyway, as was possible.
