Title My First Quidditch Game
It was a cool, slightly humid day. A perfect day for Quidditch, in my opinion. This was a good thing because today would be the day I'd play my first game ever of the remarkable and popular wizarding sport. I was so excited and nervous that I couldn't eat a bite of my lunch, but I gulped down my pumpkin juice. It was so deliciously cold and made me shiver. I was so ready to play!
The team captain, a chaser, led us onto the field and, straddling her broomstick, kicked off from the ground. My teammates and I followed. The wind felt great blowing through my long, wavy hair. I looked over to my left. Through my tortoise-shell glasses, I could see my best friends Peter and Skylie cheering for me. I smiled and waved. I just knew I was going to catch the Golden Snitch on my Firebolt! Gryffindor was going to win today! I could feel it in my bones!
Madam Splendens stepped onto the field and released the Quaffle, Bludgers, and Snitch. The game had begun.
